Thanks to everyone that made cash contributions to Dad's charity. We raised £240 which is amazing, plus all the funds people donated individually. Thanks from the Ainsworth family x

John was a longstanding member of the Tamworth & Lichfield detecting club. Despite recent ill health he would always try to turn out for our various digs. If you met him on the field his first response was always to enquire after you and your family. A true 'gentle man' who will be sorely missed by all our members. The club wishes to make this donation to John's favourite charity in his memory.

Thought
I am I and you are you, whatever we were to each other that we still are. Speak to me in the easy way which you always used. Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight? Life means all that it ever meant, it is the same as it ever was.
